This isn’t “socialism.” This is pure communism thug tactics. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, and Hugo Chavez would be proud of this Biden regime.

The hallmarks of communism are rigged elections; bans on free speech; silencing all dissent; censorship; propaganda; the weaponization of government; forced experimental vaccinations; police state raids on your critics; arresting your political opponents. Look around. We are there.

> Einen Tag nach der Attacke in Annecy ist das Entsetzen weiter groß. Präsident Macron besuchte die Opfer und dankte den Helfern - darunter auch einem Mann, der sich dem Angreifer entgegengestellt hatte.

schon komisch das die dann alle lächeln auf dem foto wenn das entsetzen so groß ist. wenn mir sowas passiert wäre, wär ich vermutlich nicht so fröhlich. aber vielleicht bin ich nur komisch drauf.

@q and that's why running these certificate scripts as root is a bad idea ™️

Sad that so many of us have to learn these things like this. I do take plenty of blame3 for avoiding helping out and not trying to be more involved as a kid. Pretty common to have dads try to drag son out to the garage to help only for mom to peck at him because “he’s a kid, let him play”

I wish more people understood the issues surrounding Julian Assange. His extradition would likely be murder, although I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being reported as a suicide. He's already been tortured [psychologically] for over a decade at this point, and our government has considered assassination. To think that he should be handed over to the people who had their crimes exposed by him and that is somehow justice is peak absurdity.

Sadly when I mention Assange to people (not fedi people, real people), most don't really know who he is. They recognize the name, and have heard of wikileaks, but they don't really know the relationship or the circumstances of his living status. It is reported on, but usually there is some other stupid thing that is way more click bait worthy to distract people from paying too much attention.

guck mal, da bewegt jemand wirklich was statt sich festzukleben ohne sinn und verstand. ganz ohne erpressung. das muss dieser voluntarismus sein der nicht funktioniert!

A notable archaeological find was made in Finland last month when a stone axe (sic!) depicting an elk was found at a cottage beach.

Material is not yet known, but the item has been dated to late stone age.

The Stripper study: Ovulatory cycle effects on tip earnings by lap dancers: economic evidence for human estrus?

"To see whether estrus was really “lost” during human evolution (as researchers often claim), we examined ovulatory cycle effects on
tip earnings by professional lap dancers working in gentlemen's clubs. Eighteen dancers recorded their menstrual periods, work shifts, and
tip earnings for 60 days on a study web site. A mixed-model analysis of 296 work shifts (representing about 5300 lap dances) showed an
interaction between cycle phase and hormonal contraception use. Normally cycling participants earned about US$335 per 5-h shift during
estrus, US$260 per shift during the luteal phase, and US$185 per shift during menstruation. By contrast, participants using contraceptive
pills showed no estrous earnings peak. These results constitute the first direct economic evidence for the existence and importance of
estrus in contemporary human females, in a real-world work setting. These results have clear implications for human evolution, sexuality,
and economics."

@Sophistifunk
Yeah, I have asked (calmly) many anarcho-commies about it.

"Everyone will embrace that one can not own capital." is probably the best answer.

But when I push "So if I make something it will be taken from me?" and building it up from a "pretty stick" to "shoes" to "factory of shoes", then I can't get them to answer when the theft is moral and why.

@nicemicro It is not ethical to risk harm to unconsenting people.

Perpetrators should do what is in their power to transparently communicate the risks and get consent and negotiate compensation.

People should have the right to exert authority on the perpetrators.

Did we solve ethics?

There is no such thing as “libertarian left” you can’t believe in liberty and that we should take everybody’s shit.
