@bronze the happening pictures are too high quality, from an angle not captured by any other recording, and it getting a page on knowyourmeme pretty much instantly should maybe be warning signals in the future..

What’s the pattern you’re seeing? All I’ve noticed is maybe dark side of fedi is more critical of everyone across the board, and mastodon types tend to favor one side or the other in a more mainstream way

half of my teens were "right hand of bin laden was killed" while weddings were bombed into a pulp by drones and helicopters and people like assange rot in jail for exposing it.
they manage to kill like two dozen hamas guys (*insert citizen kane slow clap*) and in the process kill thousands of civilians.
it doesn't matter if israel didn't start this time, the "self defense"-defense doesn't work if you are drenched in the blood of innocents you killed.

It's frustrating to see people treat software differently as any physical tool you'd have, it's literally the same but digital, and digital doesn't validate having DRM or censorship, you can have generic legal laws like "don't harass/murder" which is enough to cover any tools in general.
It's again the same bullshit with CoCs, laws already cover negative behaviour in general. No set of rules will ever stop anyone from infringing them and that's a good thing as there's always corner cases that can't be covered by laws.
And it's a good thing that there's no immediate godlike punishment the moment you do something out of the rules, like for example this week end I didn't stop at a stop sign because there was 100% chance that I wouldn't have endangered anybody including myself because there was nobody on the road outside of myself, but if you add omnipotent surveillance to that I would have gotten punished for an infraction that is of no consequence.

those in favor of israel rubbelizing gaza are often also against immigration. it's absolutely bullshit because they know pretty well those people will of course end up as refugees in europe. it's unnecessary hell for people in gaza and detrimental for the stability of europe.
