Heute ist die einzige klare Nacht während meinen Weihnachtsferien, aber genau in dieser Nacht müssen diese Leute #Feuerwerke abfeuern, sodass #Astrofotografie unmöglich wird...
Ich kann also nur hoffen, dass in meiner Gegend genug Menschen bei diesem Blödsinn nicht mitmachen...
Davon abgesehen, dass die Feuerwerke meine Pläne durchkreuzen, sind sie teuer, umweltschädlich und sowohl Haus- als auch Wildtiere erschrecken sich daran ziemlich heftig.
Die #Vogelwarte Sempach hat mal eine Studie gemacht, was an Silvester oder am 1. August (Nationalfeiertag der Schweiz) mit den Vögeln los ist. Die Ergebnisse kann man sich denken: schrecklich.

#Omikron Ausbruch in einer belgischen Antarktis Forschungsstation:
2/3 der 25 Forscher sind infiziert, keiner ist ernsthaft erkrankt.

Mutmaßlicher Brandanschlag auf LobauBleibt-Besetzung

In der Nacht auf Freitag gab es eine mutwillige Brandstiftung, bei einer der Besetzungen der LobauBleibt-Bewegung, gegen den Bau der Stadtautobahn. Gegen zwei Uhr Früh wurde der Turm auf der Baustelle an der Hirschstettener Straße 44 durch flüssigen Brandbeschleuniger in Brand gesetzt, während sich mehrere Klimaaktivist*innen darin befanden. Alle von ihnen konnten sich rechtzeitig in Sicherheit bringen und blieben physisch unverletzt.

At the end of the day, I don’t support killing a human who has done nothing wrong. Do I support the death penalty? Yes. Do I support the choice to perform an abortion in the case of the life of the mother being in danger because of the childbirth? Yes (I don’t agree with that decision but I can’t deny it prevents the baby from de facto “murdering” the mother so there’s some moral standing there).

You can’t talk to me about empathy while saying I should support the genocide of helpless human beings at their most vulnerable state, because letting the child live might not be fun for the mother. Now that’s immoral.

Unless one is raped, no one is forced to be pregnant. A consent to sex is an acceptance of the possibility of pregnancy. To say otherwise is like saying playing Russian Roulette doesn’t mean you consent to getting shot.

That’s not how it works, the human being is the egg, not the sperm, contrary to popular belief. It’d be more accurate to say that killing an adult, fertile woman kills thousands of potential people.

Lastly, the “you don’t have a uterus so you can’t talk about abortion” is a stupid co out that doesn’t hold any logical weight and I don’t understand why it’s still being used. After all, I oppose murder. Do I have to be a murderer to do so? I support clean water. Do I have to work for the Department Of Public Works to do so? I support lower taxes. Do I have to be a member of Congress to do so? No. I’m allowed to have and voice moral opinions no matter my social standing. I do not need to be a murderer to oppose my murder, I don’t need to be a congressman to support lower taxes, and I do not need to be a woman to oppose abortion.
