@Gargron Why anyone would do so is the puzzling question.

I can imagine single-column being less intimidating for newbies but if you're already used to the lists and columns stuff no reason to go back to the fisher price version.

I was informed by severall admins that a s diseas is going around the Fediverse.
Apparently it is called: "German"

It is a Germ that gets into your brain and starts eating the area that is responsbile for language forming and understanding.

The first sign is a broken English called Denglish.
After thet it goes from high german to various dialects (depoending on wich germ you caught).
The last step is Swabian, before you are dying a lonely and painful death, because at this point no one will understand you.

Worts of all: People infected with that Germ doesn't get it that there is something wrong.

So if you encounter a German speaking account warn them about this very dangerous Bakterie!
