i like https://floraincognita.com/flora-incognita-app/ for plant identification, works well and is made by a german university (afaik) so maybe less problematic than other apps regarding privacy. they seem to send apks if requested by mail too.

I think the purple flowers is an annual. The leafy twiggy thing has been repeatedly hacked back to half inch stumps, and it’s growing out through the gaps in the wall as well as at the top of the wall, so I fear it’s going to be a sod to get rid of.
