I'd be interested in numbers however just in general given all the misguided government policies I've witnessed to date I'm initially inclined to take them at their word

so several hours later it's more responsive than ever. it turns out if you play dead (block the status page) people stop scraping. incredible. response times are back down to 1-2s instead of 15-30
