Things that would convince me to take the injections:
>Liability for companies that are making the injections
>Assured compensation, both monetary and medical, if I suffer any side-effects from the injections
>Admittance by authorities that the injections aren't really vaccines, that they're still highly experimental, and that the probability of adverse events is much higher than reported by the MSM

Things that have convinced me to not take the injections:
>Firing or laying off my fucking family members for not taking the injections
>Annihilating the career I worked on for 10 years because I chose not to take the injections
>Injections pushed for under-18s, they now want to inject 5-year olds
>MANDATING the above for kids less likely to die or receive injury from the 'rona than they are to get run over by a car on their way to school
>blaming me for the mysteriously rising case counts in highly-injected regions even though I thankfully get to only go outside for exercise and groceries, and I haven't been sick since 2016 when someone literally sneezed right into my hands

Remember last week when @onan showed the picture of the person crossing the stream of crocodiles to get to dobbstown?

Well, the Dobbstown Texas Adjacent moat is now ready, and my minions are trained to smell slack. They can strip the flesh from the bodies of the slackless in seconds!

@bonifartius @Dice @Flay @kino “if it would really be about the women and children, we just would do any fucking thing to prevent them of getting it. like for example, giving expecting families enough money so that they don’t have to work and have to put their other children into daycare where they get covid from. problem solved. ez.”

Here we see the thinking of someone who puts money in front of all other considerations. Nothing less than lethal force will stop a bunch of those expectant mothers in isolation from getting this initially and still not well understood respiratory spread virus from any subset of her husband, kids and friends.

More and more I”m realizing the single biggest advantage of vaccines is that they work even for people as stupid as you.

das ist mit abstand der höchste wert aus der liste.

can't make this up :D

@Flay @ThatWouldBeTelling @kino
it truly pains me how these babies have to suffer and live with life-long injuries caused by blind trust and blind fear.

At times, I wish this really was the Black Death so these people's hysterical fear would be justified.

@Hyolobrika I had a visceral negative reaction to most of that article.

The only thing I think was remotely correct was the tendency of federated systems to centralize, but the author treats this as an absolute rather than a trend, and ignores that as technology changes, it can become easier for less and less technical users to deploy a particular technology. Frankly, centralization is almost always driven by lack of user education, rather than inaccessibility of technical knowledge.

The author also fails to recognize the role federation plays as a check against administrative abuse, even if a federated system becomes de-facto centralized, the ability to leave without losing access to the whole system* puts pressure on operators to not-be-too-evil. It also allows pluralism in administrative styles.

Obviously there’s a degree of centralization past which this isn’t feasible, but email isn’t there, and fedi certainly isn’t.

When you say the name "Benedict Cumberbatch", do you say it to the tune of "Another One Bites The Dust?"

Well you do now.

You're welcome!
