I have a laptop with a little barrel-connector power port.
I just stuck a headphone jack, of very expensive headphones that I was wearing at the time, into the power port instead of the headphone port of this laptop.
Nothing happened.
To the engineers responsible for nothing happening, when
1. destruction of equipment
2. deafening noise
