I can't make them leave so I am settling for the fact that they can't make me leave.

it turns out that quantity is a quality and I liked the network before it got flooded with a million Twitter NPCs. Just being honest that the network isn't a neutral substrate and I don't want everyone on here anymore. The experiences I have had, friends I made, and opportunities I was given would not have happened if it were Twitter 2.0 from the beginning. They are victims of corporate proprietary platforms that largely helped make them that way, but coming here isn't going to fix their broken brains and I want them out of my neighborhood.

Spring in full swing already

The UK is sending depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine to use in the proxy war with Russia.

The people of Iraq and former Yugoslavia still suffer from high cancer rates and birth defects from depleted uranium deployed by the US and NATO.

@rolltime we’ve had good feedback that we offer invoices in opendyslexic font at @aaisp

a friend is nearly in tears because changing their KDE font to opendyslexic also changed the font ePubs render in in okular, meaning they can actually read their assignments.

this is why apps respecting your preferences is important, and it's why libre software (and KDE in particular) is so awesome.

unrelatedly, fuck electron.

Updating myself on #gnulinux free/libre #audio software after 10y. WOW! 🤯 (stopped using proprietary software 20y ago, around Reason2.0)

- 20y ago: "Audio on #linux?! what? where? haha" 🌑

- 15y ago: "so frustrating.. it may never work.." 🌒

- 10y ago: "ah if only someday.. some stuff is *really interesting and promising*.." 🌓

- today: WOW. 💥🌕💥

Most interoperable audio platform ever! Such polished software! So much dedication+love!

❤️

Best showcase/evidence of #free/libre sw on long term! <3

Mixed the broth liver, carrot peels, tomatoes, eggshells, oyster shells, garlic, a spoon of grain and shred bread, they should be fine for two days now :)
