a thing which disappoints me is how fluoridated the hacker community has become. code of conducts, kangaroo courts, witch hunts.
all the woke shit is catering to a psychopath minority and has destroyed any wish for me to go to events or participate in organizations.
the fsf (and gnu) is one of the few still keeping their ideals. meanwhile they are frequently attacked for not being woke enough and not cancelling the right people.

Theres discussions over on reddit on how restrictive mastodon.art is by now, someone was like "i can't follow my friends on kollektiva.social and journa.host" and a few lines below people screaming it is toxic over there, especially in terms of suspensions. The user wrote they wandered off from .art and someone else wouldn't recommend art to their artist friends anymore. You reap what you sow.
