Oh hey, you can embed arbitrary data in a PNG.

You can have a game with a Saints Row style character customizer, have that game take a photo of your character that it gives you as a PNG with all the numbers for the wrinkly-eyes sliders etc stored as metadata chunks, you can email that PNG to a mate and they can slot that PICTURE OF YOUR CHARACTER back into their copy of the game and they'll be able to play as your character.

What a wacky and cool idea!

I'm having a species crush on the Virginia Opossum.

They're cute, cranky, ugly, sweet and bizarre all at once. They hang from their tails, pretend to be dead (complete with foul odor), cuddle in families and hiss like a cat.

Sold an old cattle bell on Marketplace today. When the guy collected it he explained that the cut in it was something they'd do to stop a crack propagating. Seems obvious in retrospect. I thought it was a major flaw but he liked the cut because it was part of the history of the bell. You learn something everyday.
