Weird things that bothered you as a child? I'll go first:
It bothered me endlessly that pencils don't write black. I don't know if I was craving more contrast on the paper or if I just thought they *should*.
@braindouche It bothered me that markers needed the lid on every time I'm done using them. If I was busy coloring some picture with various colors, I'd just leave the lid off.
Of course, then 6-year-old me thought it was a great idea to just leave them off, so much easier when I don't have to constantly put the lid back on when cleaning up. The markers didn't last long.
Stupid markers!
