A question that occurs to me from time to time: professionally speaking, what *am* I, and what am I *trying* to be?
It's a vexing problem.

Why do you find this vexatious? I ask because the first has always been clear to me (a problem solver) but the second might be plaguing me as well.

For what it's worth, you sound like a consultant, a process consultant to be specific. That's insufficient?
@braindouche Well, yes, it does feel insufficient. Partly, because there are things I do that *aren't* process and *aren't* consulting. Perhaps also partly, that is a game of hucksters and cons, and I don't like being affiliated with it.

That's the problem with labels, they're shorthand and refuse to contain our multitudes.
