New term proposed! Front-End Pharaoh: A developer who creates front-ends that require the surplus labor of an entire bronze-age kingdom to build and maintain. Someone who doesn't factor in scale of developer resources against the incidental complexity of systems they create.

I know he's developed and advocated for some pre-typescript libraries and technologies that have been thoroughly memoryholed and actively hated some latter-day JavaScript language additions, but I don't think those count as sins per se. But that's all I have.

Not very hot take: prompt engineering is just QA with a trendy paycheck #changemymind. I hope historically underpaid QAs are getting bank while the getting is good.
