Human lack of purpose is a bigger problem than we might think.
Most have given up on meaning, direction, and therefore, enjoyment, and are simply existing for a sense of power.

And she answered that in her region people mostly work on field and after work they chilling. I asked what that means, and she answered that they doing hard work, get few money, and after work they drinking alcohol or smoking weed. After that I asked her, do you know why they doing that? She said "No". And I said that they just dont know what they living for or why the live. And I asked "do you really want your child grew up that way in that enviroment?". Two weeks after she coverted in Islam.

People either have a sense of purpose, or they become merely bundles of impulses for power. Being intoxicated means a certain kind of power over your world.
