@jim_easterbrook weird when I looked at thr reply the thumbnail appeared in the first one. Maybe just a bit of lag.
@bykimbo Deleting the experiment now. Definitely a Mastodon problem and not a Flickr one. And different Mastodon instances probably do things differently - fetching previews is the sort of thing that might be dropped to ease load on a server.
@bykimbo I got a not very useful thumbnail, but it disappeared later.
