Our home computer has been trapped behind my other half’s work Surface (don’t be unkind) and 2 attached screens for the past 18 months. Today we decided to liberate it to a different desk so it could be used. Uncabled, moved, re-cabled, powered up. No spare wires. Everything powers up. Then freeze…. Mega freeze… As the iMac updates all the apps, mailboxes, OneDrive, iCloud, etc from the past 18 months. Seriously run out of memory and internet. 8 hours later…
