R Aquarii is a white dwarf star that burns nuclear fuel and a red giant. The white dwarf pulls material from the red giant. Evidence for outbursts is seen in the structures observed by @NASAHubble (red and blue). X-ray data from @chandraxray (purple) show a jet from white dwarf.
