Well, so phhht! I was reading the local or federated timeline I forget which and I clicked on some podcast and was listening to that on my phone here, but then I accidentally pressed back or something, and it went back into Mastodon and that timeline refreshed to the beginning I guess, and now I can't find it again, and the little embedded Chrome or whatever that was actually playing it doesn't seem to expose its history anywhere, so it's just gone forever!

I suppose this is good practice in not clinging.

And possibly in noticing the titles of podcasts that one is listening to.

I searched on the hashtags "podcast" and "podcasts" and didn't find it, but I did find LOTS of really interesting stuff, so I think I came out ahead. :D

Still, I do wish there was a more thorough History of Everything You've Looked At Recently on the phone / computer.

@ceoln of course if you store that history info it will be exploited by hackers and others with prying eyes... better to not do that

@shelenn
Eh! I don't worry about my browser history, I wouldn't worry more if it had included the podcast I had listened to.

If they can get far enough into my systems / accounts to read that stuff, they've pwned me already. There isn't anything especially valuable in addition in knowing what podcasts I've listened to/
