My take on resolutions:

If they work for you or you think they might work for you, go ahead and make them. If they don't work for you, don't. Each of us has different things that work for us to allow us to make changes to our lives. And they tend to work for me pretty well, especially if I reinforce them as "intentions" later, so some intentions I'm working on for the next year are:
