Been reading Ed Yong's "An Immense World", which is all about the very different sensory appartus of different creatures. Has me thinking even more about our dependence on light, shadow, and really subjective ideas of color.

The body is woven and I crocheted the straps on. I'm thinking of crocheting a simple scalloped lace edge on too but we'll see, what do y'all think?

I've been struggling with this myself, so I thought I'd repeat it for other people that might be dealing with the same thing:

Not every hobby needs to be a project. Not everything needs to be a whole *thing* with a goal and an endpoint. It's okay to not finish something. It's okay to pick up something for a bit, explore it, start making something, and then drop it without making any "progress".

Productivity is capitalist bullshit that doesn't need to infect your free time too. Have some fun

There's a lot of news this week about anti-queer extremism and violence, with a great deal of it specifically targeting the trans community. Since this is an important issue for me, my friends, and some of my extended family, I'd like to share it with you.
