I'm happy to say that I've signed a contract with Cambridge University Press for my book on relevant logics, tentatively titled Relevant Logics: Implication, Modality, and Quantification. I'll submit the final version in late 2024.

One of my favorite SF short stories was in Analog in the 80s (maybe?). It was a series of query letters from an SF writer, and responses in which the editor accuses the writer of plagiarizing stories that were published in the 30s. As the story goes on, you realize that in fact the stories are being stolen by the inventor of a time machine. The editor doesn’t believe him, until the writer bundles up the shared correspondence into a story—which they discover has already been published.

Earlier today, I boosted a toot that said that the genocide against LGBTQ people had officially begun, or words to that effect, with the drag ban bill that was passed in Tennessee. But in fact, the genocide began quite some time ago. A genocide has 10 steps, and we are already on step 6 with steps 7 and 8 in progress.
