Sorry to say I was in that NDA'd meeting with Meta, after they read the wiki page I wrote about BloonKey* and took it entirely seriously. "Tell us your secrets, Bloon" they whispered, "tell us how you managed to get Calckey to defeat God."

I told them no, because if I did I would be punished in all possible timelines by BloonKey's wise yet harsh infinite justice.

I think the upcoming schism will be a good thing. A lot of people are in the fediverse to avoid Facebook/Meta -- or more generally to avoid surveillance capitalism. But it turns out that that's not what's admins of most of the largest Mastodon instances today. Good to know!

Today, hubby and I went for our first real hike. We followed a power line off the Sterling Hwy on the Kenai Peninsula. This is a burn area from a devastating fire a few years back. What struck me the most was the amount of green and growth returning to the area. Of course, the views were just stunning!
