A lot of people have no clue just how huge right to repair is in this-- a massive amount of degrowth can be brought about with an actual increase in our quality of life, just by ending the deranged waste caused by built-in obsolescence. Once that realization spreads, maybe folks won't be as worried this is about nobody having nice things anymore-- but that's the scary narrative the wealthy parasites will be pushing with their propaganda machines.

A person I worked with and his wife were expecting their first child. Three weeks before the due date, the fetus died. She had to carry that fetus until "birth" because they lived in a state with restrictions on abortion care.

This was not a "might not survive" thing. There was no life. And the cruel nation we are forced this couple to suffer for weeks beyond need.
