once heard a lame excuse from a dev who provided zero documentation: "i can write up docs, or i can build a product that works." we ended up with neither.
still think about it as i write up docs for my own clients.
docs = shared understanding = aligned vision = better products

@tanya_shapiro you are perfectly right. I have no idea of the case you are mentioning, but devs are frequently exposed to irrelevant deadlines and sometimes have to take pragmatical decisions 😜
