@Baley thanks I did check the plot. seems to be really a classic, but I don't know the author. It is not taught at school in my country (we are quite european-centric for many things including literature, except maybe Steinbeck). I don't read that much novels and I am a bit reluctant to traumatic stories. Is the story not too much hard, especially before sleeping ? Catharsis doesn't work on me 😅

One of my close friend is a hardcore reader (like 2-3 books a week), I'll tell her about the book.
