@commandelicious Dude, for sure. HOI4 has come a long way and focus trees are an enormous part of that.

I spend most of my gaming time playing Stellaris, though. I love that game.

@Surasanji Stellaris is literally the game I waited twenty years for.

@commandelicious I'm super excited about the way they're redoing the planetary tile system and updating the economics. I'm hoping we'll be able to make trade empires and hyper-space highways/freeways or the like.

@Surasanji I was very against getting rid of warp and wormholes and was very vocal about it, too.
Turns out: The game improved a lot.

Yeah, I was a little worried it change the tone of the game in a way I wouldn't enjoy. I, too, was pleasantly surprised that was not the case. I'd say that I enjoy the game much more now with that particular change.

I like to play my maps with minimum hyper-lanes now so I get maximum choke points.

Ever started without any rival AI but a lot more "primitives"?
