Updating my Jolla tablet. Tooter is a native Sailfish Mastodon app and is very nice to use. Tusky seems to want newer Android so is not installable. Still looking for a Matrix client as none of the ones on F-Droid run. #sailfishos #tooter

I use the riot.im app and it works fine. I can't remember where I installed it from, probably F-droid.

@cybette ive tryed riot/element the SFOS one has less features but i keep my sailfishOS device Android app free like apps that are native and stick to traditional sailfishOS app design guidelines
@cybette i feel thats a plus that sailfishOS apps are more simplistic in nature compared to lots of Android apps
I have official port but dont use Android app support only like native apps
@cybette Riot.im was replaced by Element quite long ago, better upgrade. F-droid version doesn't have reliable push notifications which sucks.. Hopefully a pure foss alternative will be available one day.
Element won't run the last time I tried. I'll probably go with determinant as @jameshjacksonjr suggested.
