I've not made much progress on my javascript, PolyTiler v0.2, barely function if you can express polytile notation and can guess my usage of ctrl/shift keys.
I just made a little colorful tiling to feel better, even if boundary ended up a mess.

For months I've been sharing stories of trailblazers who have made game changing contributions, but weren't widely acknowledged. "History" after all, hasn't exactly celebrated people equally.

Today I went back & tagged each post

➡️ #HistoryRemix ⬅️

so you can find them together on #Mastodon.

I hope that everyone can see remarkable people who look like them - pioneers, scientists, writers, musicians, poets, activists and inventors - and recognize all of us are capable of great achievements.

In #JapaneseFolklore teru teru bozu are a common superstition related to the weather. They are small white dolls made of paper or cloth, traditionally hung in windows by farmers as a talisman believed to bring sunny weather, and to stop or prevent rain. Children who wished for a sunny day would hang them and sing 'Fine-weather priest, please let the weather be good tomorrow.' Apparently if you need rain you can also hang them upside down, and then they are called fure fure bozu.

The bears of Cairnhill Woods, just outside of Glasgow.

I always love seeing these sculptures whenever I go for a walk in Cairnhill Woods. The dog is much less sure of what to make of them!

If you're ever feeling insecure about your area of expertise, remember how confidently people used to discuss their surprisingly detailed thoughts about the women of Mars.

Today's #inkyDays drawing started as bubbles in my coffee, but quickly resolved into an imaginary lichen covered twig.

I’ve had “Take Grand Central Sunrise Photos” on my calendar for today for about 4 months. I chose today based on researching where the sun would line up and how high it would get at a specific time.

Today that planning ahead really paid off. These are straight out of my camera. I have about 600 more to go through. Can’t wait to get home and edit.

Y’all know how I feel about co-worker Fish. It’s less clear what he feels about me. But what I do know, is given the choice, he likes to keep me in sight, usually within three feet, like an introvert cuddle, very helpful when work is a struggle.
