In a combination of #TombTuesday and #CatsOfMastodon, I bring you the final resting place of wee Caty, in the Asnières-sur-Seine, France--the oldest pet cemetery in Europe. Since its founding in 1899, tens of thousands of animals, famous and humble, have been interred. The French inscription on the stone reads, "To Caty. To you who have long been my faithful companion, I keep your immortal image in my heart, 1948-1957."

We saw an albino deer with the herd in the park tonight. It required me to go into the woods and use the zoom on my phone. Oh and a sunset if you like those things.

It’s harvest time on the island, and so, there’s MUCH food around me. I’m not complaining at all, in fact I’m very proud of my mate Abbie, who grew, harvested and then baked her own sourdough. The most calm, almost devotional place in #Lisbon is the beautiful Reservatório da Mãe d'Água das Amoreiras. In this church-like reservoir the main aqueduct from #Sintra ends. It served to provide water for the city until around 1970.
