Otters.

It has been lovely to see so many families of otters around Mull recently.

This pair were gliding through the glass-like water of a loch, when one dived and surfaced with a fish.

They both swam quickly to the shore, where the cub made light work of the fish.

This animation demonstrations something interesting about the notion of periodicity, I think. The basic period of the GIF is 2 seconds (i.e., the frames repeat every 2 seconds). However, if you follow one of the discs, you will see that it takes much more than 2 seconds to return to its starting point.
