Not just English. In Jeremiah 1:11-12 we have:
שקד - almond tree
שקד - watch over (be wakeful over)
For all you non-native English speakers out there, “read” is pronounced like “lead”, and “read” is pronounced like “lead”. #EnglishIsHard
