I admit I had to look up Boris Pistorius
The Wikipedia page about him is thankfully comprehensive
But I see nothing here to indicate he’s going to be especially good as Defence Minister!
@jon Dig a little further and you'll find that his positions on his policy field are not un-criticised. Then again, he's minister for a while now and I'm not aware of any larger problems. So, probably generally capable, not the big-fuzz guy (which is probably not a bad thing).
Then again: He's from Niedersachsen, where the interior ministry is largely about sheep and cattle, I guess... 🤷 😄
@cweickhmann But is he generally capable? Or just a typical grey suit SPD dude?
