Outside my local Co-op store:
I'm glad my bike wasn't locked to this Sheffield stand when a motorist drove into it.
Needless to say, I park my bike at the stand furthest away from the cars(!)

@AnnaUK One the one hand, I hope the motorist had the dignity to check-in with the store and offer to pay the damage.
On the other hand, my experience tells me, he checked his car, possible cursed about the damage to the varnish and cyclists in general and drove off.
For the sake of my belief in humanity I hope it's the former.
@cweickhmann I imagine he cursed the stand itself for not having lights and hi-viz? 🤔
@cweickhmann No, I just rolled up to buy groceries and was thankful my bike wasn't anywhere near it when it got hit!
