Wow! Sega had an AI Computer back in 1986, it used Prolog instead of Basic.

You realise that the term AI keeps coming back every 20 years or so to cloak something way less fancy (still useful). In the 00's it was anything fuzzy, in the 80's I might've been Prolog. And back in the 60s-ish it was simply using a computer to make suggestions to configure your mainframe or other products. I don't find the hackaday article about that right now, but it's there 😃
