I managed to avoid the Covid for nearly 3 years…but not today. I have to say that the takeoff since my positive test at 1PM has been impressive. Glad I got all the recommended #CovidVaccination and now scrambling to get Paxlovid. Next pandemic we need to rapidly scale up a health services corp with any interested college students, retirees, the general public, etc to facilitate more rapid testing/screening, vaccination and antiviral prescribing. The system I accessed worked well and I had my first dose of Paxlovid within 3 hours of my first call to my doctor. The only hurdle was I had to snowblower the alley exit, which I had cleared this morning, because the city plowed it shut. #COVID #COVID19 #publichealth
