@darryl I'm still checking RSS feeds daily. Atm I use Inoreader, seems convenient enough. I follow news and comics that way.
@darryl I hadn't touched RSS in a long while, but I decided to set up FreshRSS on my SBC, and so far it's working great.
There's also an Android app, freshrss-android, which is easier to read than the Web frontend on mobile, but it doesn't have the feed management features.
(I have to remind myself that I'm not actually obligated to read everything on my feed.)
