When we want to say something terrible about another human, we say they are a wolf, a dog, a cow, a sheep, a beast or a snake.
Yet, research has found that our predatory impact is "up to 300 times greater than that of top predators such as the great white shark, lion or tiger."
If we want to describe the worst and most destructive behavior imaginable we just need one word: human.
