Well that could go in the "the study" directly or a misc category. I'm not opposed to making a new subforum for it though I wouldnt want to create a subforum for just one or two posts either..

I'm flexible either way. We can always move posts around. How about make the post first, put it somewhere generic and we can read it and try to figure out if we need a new forum for it.

Keep in mind gitlab also lets you host your own website, even on its own domain, off of our servers too. So if you really want to host your own blog you can do that through gitlab (thats how my blog is hosted).

As for gitlab, I thought of it (it is better than github) but:
1. I felt that I needed to have a dev project to get on board
2.I thought I needed to have at least some basic skills in html - css - js and that's not yet the case plus just to download and install makes me spin - that's how non-tech I am
3. I think they use AWS which I'm not so fond of...

I have a question which I feel might be important for me to ask.
I have been thinking of blogging to help with the theme I spoke about and I may have a service I'm going to propose in my blog on top of an e-book (to help people to develop their own autonomy).
If I understand well, I shall not talk about any services I propose.
Can you confirm this to me so that I am not going against qoto's frame?

Are you refering to QOTOs no advertisements rule?

Basically, its fine to occasionally mentioned commercial services, even ones you personally benefit from. It should be constructive when taken in context, and not the focus of it.

Even if you had a product you produced, especially if its STEM or education based, mentioning it from time to time isnt a problem. but if it seems to be the whole purpose of your account then it might be an issue.
