@santannamv@mastodon.social @protonmail You don't shut down whole postal mail services if you receive spam by letter. The postman doesn't know what's inside the envelope (and nor should he).
Such ban is ineffective, and only hurts real people who need to access their email address to function. Censorship is always wrong.
