Has google started *really* pushing “Log in with your google account” on tons of sites or am I just somehow unlucky? They seem like they’re everywhere. I feel like I’m being stalked.

Okay so you can actually turn this off, but you have to do it *from your account* which just painfully reminds me that I'm constantly being stalked by Google everywhere I go. 🤬

This is why I use Firefox with its Multi-Account Containers - my Google account is chained up in its own container cell, so big G can't as easily look over my shoulder at every page I visit.

@digital_carver I do the same, actually. It’s the brazen tracking that is frustrating. Plus, since they have no data access in other containers I *always* saw the pop-up, so I ended up having to block it directly. 🔥

Oh, does it pop up even if it doesn't know you're a G user? That's really intrusive. Maybe it's uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger blocking it for me then. (Kinda sad that we have to resort to multi-layered defense just to browse the web, but at least we *have* those available as a choice thanks to the good people that make them available openly.)
