@trayofbees so sad that OS2 died. Not sure if you know the history about how Microsoft screwed over IBM to kill it but it's an interesting little story to look into.

@drewfer Oh I know every painful little detail. :-(
I relied on it as a server OS, plus at the time I was doing income tax/bookkeeping networked DOS apps--and DOS had become such a tight squeeze by 1996 the only possible way to run it and have room in mem to breathe was to run it on that platform
