I was never much of a country fan, but my god 911 really upped the fascism ante.
@freemo I'm not a country fan anymore but me and many other people have a term we call "9/11 country".
Before 9/11, country was basically about running from the law, drinking a shitload, smoking grass, or your woman got out of town for good and took all the valuable shit out of the house with her.
After 9/11, it basically turned into war and tyrannical police state propaganda.
I think that's one of the reasons Hootie took off, he was one of the guys that restarted "good times" country.
