I need to find a composer who's versed in ancient Greek music. Not "what audiences expect ancient Greek music to sound like", actual ancient Greek music. If you know someone like that, please send them my way. ​

@noelle I don't remember who the person is (though I remember music samples on sound cloud) of an ethnomusicologist who was pretty sure they'd figured out how to read ancient greek music (from like pottery?)

If I find it again, I'll let you know, but in general what I expect you want is a Classics-focused Ethnomusicologist-type composer

@lapis @noelle I remember a pottery thing where they figured out they could play the grooves on the pottery pieces like a record and recreate some of the ambient sound where the pottery was created.
