what is 'impossible' to build using web components and a serverless backend?
i like a challenge.
@brianleroux not saying it's impossible, and feel free to answer as a reply without needing to bother to build a demo, but how would you build a live chat system serverless? I'd be interested to learn that; I do it by having a long-running server to relay the messages, but if there's a way without that I'm at least interested in hearing how you'd do it!
@sil @brianleroux all the clients participate in a shared DHT / blockchain so chat state is all client side. Zero-knowlege systems like @signalapp do similar. Not sure how you leave a message for an offline client tho
