A question for my #Android friends.
Did you know that you can turn off auto-update in the Google Play appstore?
It allows you to keep old versions if an update contains something you don't like.
How many apps do you have frozen in time?
@Edent Oh, I wish I'd known this back when Signal was still supporting SMS...
@vic you can always uninstall your new version and install an older one.
I've no idea if it'll import databases etc.

@vic @Edent sadly @Mer__edith broke that work around as old @signalapp can't interop with new post-SMS removal version :-(
Managed to keep some people on it anyway, but much harder sell than used to be
