Ok have the rules changed about LinkedIn? I thought it was for people you actually knew and could vouch for professionally, but I get connection requests from all sorts of folks I've never heard of (and not _all_ of them are recruiters).
@freemo Interesting. I wonder where I picked up the idea it was a web of trust type thing. Mind you, I was only ever facebook friends with people I knew, so maybe I'm just not good at internet!
@fleeblewidget "Rules" is a strong word for that place!
@fleeblewidget I dont think it was ever meant to be restricted to people you know directly. Since day one they had the ability to pay to circumvent that.
