MycoWorks uses mycelium, the substance in the root structure of mushrooms, to make Reishi, which has the look and feel of leather. Big-name companies are very interested.

The humble fungus also holds great promise in enabling sustainable recovery of critical metals (for our green technologies) from waste streams and also shifting a mine from a blemish in the earth’s crust towards more of a “fungal garden”;
