@freemo I did take a course ages ago, when we HAD to learn CW to apply for a license.
One of the instructors brought in a vintage WWII commando radio set, and that was exquisite.
Lovely piece, all black, small and rugged by necessity.
WWII is a fascinating period, and I love it.
