@freemo unpopular opinion. As far as receive goes, my Baofeng F8HP is the best HT at receive. Stock antenna beats receive against any Yaesu or Kenwood HT I have used with upgraded Antenna. Speaker beats them all too. I wish this wasn't the case, but if someone is just doing rcv on VHF/UHF, its the best I've found. And that's sad, $60 chinese radio beating $400+ Japanese at receive

@freemo good so far. I had an FT2 that had a shitty receive no matter what antenna I used, so I was skeptical. This seems good to go, probably just had a did FT2. I know everyone wanted this color screen, but I prefer the previous
